Lemongrass Thai Restaurant

Saturday night January 29th - 6:30 to 10:00 -  join us for a Holiday dinner at the Lemongrass Thai Restaurant (16666 San Pedro Ave at 281, San Antonio, TX 78233) for a night of some great Thai food, and visit with our Mercedes-Benz family of friends - let us know how many to expect so we can let the restaurant be prepared for us. The club will bring in Coffee and box lunches for everyone.  The purpose of the meeting is to get feedback and suggestion on events that the membership would like to participate in for the new year.

Join us for Spassnacht at 6:30 p.m. on February 1st at O'Neill's, 95th and Mission Road, Ranch Mart North, Leawood as we resume Spassnacht for 2022. We'll be ordering off the full menu in the private dining room reserved just for the Kansas City Section. If you have to work late, just come when you can. Your Benz friends will look forward to seeing you there on the first!

Chinese “Blind” Cuisine

I (John Goode) have known the owner of the restaurant for 10 years, and the restaurant is basically our family’s private kitchen. It is not a fancy place, but the food is mouthwatering. I have booked the whole restaurant between 11:30 AM and 2 PM on that day; we’ll enjoy the private dining experience with amusement - Guaranteed. Although there is a huge parking lot, the date is very close to the Chinese New Year (The year of Tiger), and the parking lot will be packed. The owner suggests that we come before 11:30, and get our Mercedes parked closely and socializing among the group between 11:30-12:30. The feast will then start at 12:30 PM.

There will be a 10-course meal; the ingredients will be…a big bowl of Soup, Fish, Pork, Beef, Lobsters, Vegetables, Fried Rice, Fried Noodle, Duck/Chicken, and Chinese desserts, most dishes served will be mild. We/I will not know the name of the dishes, or how the food will be prepared. The courses will be based on the chefs’ mood on that day, I’ll ensure that the chefs are in good spirits.  Just make sure that your chopsticks skills are up-to-date and that you are ready to come and enjoy the feast and the festivity.

This event is for the Mercedes-Benz Club of America - San Francisco Bay Area Section Members only!

They will be serving hot tea and a glass of water. There will be no open cork charges, so please bring your own glass, and your favorite drinks, and share your favorite drinks with your fellow members. I will bring an ice chest to keep the drinks cool, and a few bottles of warm Sake.

Our section follows the CDC and the County’s health guidelines.  In case the in-door dining and activity are prohibited by the State authority, we will cancel this event and refund your registration fee.

For the third time in recent years, members of the Chesapeake Region of the Rolls-Royce Owners' Club and the Greater Washington Section of the Mercedes-Benz Club of America will fly their flags together in 2022. As usual, the Display & Dine is not a concours d'elegance. It’s an informal, cars & coffee-style gathering of top marque enthusiasts who meet for car talk over a delicious meal while admiring our cars parked together.

If you love cars, then you’ll love this venue! Most Clyde's restaurants have an aeronautical, equestrian, or nautical theme. The Chevy Chase location's theme is elegant classic cars and we have secured a reservation in their impressive Race Bar on the lower level. This event will be rain-or-shine as we will be able to park in the adjacent parking garage, validated by the restaurant.
