Southern Stars Section was at Caffeine and Octane Jacksonville!
MBCA Members and friends joined in on the “second Saturday monthly” Caffeine and Octane Jacksonville in January! This is a free event to attend, and no registration is necessary. We had a 300 SL “Gullwing” in attendance, as well as a 1-20 (1 of 4 in the US) 2001 SL 500 Formula One Edition. We also had a RENNtech-enhanced SL 600, a Green Hell Magno AMG GTR, a CLK 63 Black Series, and a new Mercedes-AMG SL 55. There were a few classic W123 variants, including sedans, wagons, and coupes, in addition to an AMG GT 63 4-door coupe and a 1997 SL 500 40th Anniversary Edition! The Mercedes-Benz parking corral also included a couple of E55s, several S-Class vehicles, C204 C-Class coupes, and so many more unique Mercedes-Benz vehicles! We’ll see you next month!

Beginning around 7:00 am, Southern Stars Section leadership will assemble in the “Central Lot” at Caffeine and Octane Jacksonville to prepare for the event starting at 8:00 a.m. and welcome fellow Mercedes-Benz enthusiasts. Aim for gate #3, to the slight left of the “Exotics Lot” if approaching from the Southside Blvd main entrance. We are typically in front of the “Furniture Source” storefront (formerly Sears) at the end of the mall, near the parking garages.
Vehicles that cannot remain in the Central Lot from 8-11 a.m. are asked to park in the Exhibit Lot for easier entry and departure, and pedestrian safety.
Chick-fil-A and restrooms in the Avenues Mall food court will open early for Caffeine and Octane attendees at 7:30 am. (Yes, they serve coffee!)
