Southern Stars Section attended the Caffeine and Octane Jacksonville!

We had an amazing variety of Mercedes-Benz vehicles shared, and we were also the “First Coast Car Council” chosen Car Club of the Month and had a large, reserved area for our Featured Car Club of the Month Car Corral so we could park 45 Mercedes-Benz vehicles!

We had fantastic vintage and modern muscle Mercedes-Benz vehicles in attendance, and two different 280 SL Pagoda build specifications. We had a 2005 Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren, as well as a 1961 190 SL, which recently won the Ponte Vedra Auto Show “Best in Show” in 2021!

We had a 1968 “California 2+2” white Pagoda as well as a traditional 1971 280 SL gray Pagoda. We had a fantastic CLA 250, and a tuned C 250 coupe, and a 1936 500K Tribute vehicle that everyone loved! We also had several AMG vehicles, including a couple of E 63S sedans and a wagon, an E 55, a couple of C 63s, a CLK 55, an S 55, an SLK 55, a sweet CLS 63S, two SL 63s, and a beautiful 2019 S 63 Cabriolet, as well as SLCs and SLKs!

We had a few R129 SLs in attendance, including a fairly rare 1997 40th Anniversary! In addition to the 1961 190 SL, and a couple of pagodas, the few R129s, we also had an R230 SL 500! We also had a 1972 250 C, and a 1987 560 SEL. We also had a 2012 E 550 Cabriolet, a 2014 CLS 550, and, our favorite part, a huge group of enthusiasts who shared their passion, ranging from ages 6 to “shut yo’ mouth”!

Thank you to everyone who shared their Mercedes-Benz vehicles with us, and donated toys for Toys for Tots at Caffeine and Octane Jacksonville, as well as at our holiday event. It was our best Toys for Tots toy drive to date!

No official registration is needed, although we would appreciate a quick message if you would like to attend. In January, we will aim for the Central Lot, for those who can stay in that lot from 8am-11am, as it is restricted entry and departure for pedestrian safety. If you are unable to remain for that time frame, consider parking in the Exhibit Lot to visit the event, come say hi to us, and depart as you need to.
