Twenty-seven of our members met for our Membership Lunch on Saturday, May 21st for lunch and to hear a special speaker give a presentation on tires. Paul Barner was our guest speaker and he discussed tire performance, care and wear, ratings for replacements and how to choose tires, and other topics. Paul's career included tire store management and ownership, manufacturer territory and district management. He was a charter member of the Texas Tire Dealers Association. As tires and cars have developed into so many ways from SUVs to performance cars buying tires can be a challenge. Paul brought with him handouts of his presentation and the time he allocated for questions was well received. Among our members three were first time attendees and new members. The food was good, the day was pleasant and the company and conversation among the group was fun.
