Southern Stars Section recently co-hosted a Cars & Coffee at the Mercedes-Benz Orange Park dealership to celebrate the 8-Es!
Continuing in August month of E-Class appreciation, "8-E", a couple of Es might form an 8. (EƎ), a couple of E-Class cars that came out to join us were Section President Chase Jackson’s 2012 E 550 Cabriolet, and Member Mark Cummin's high-spec 2000 E 320 Wagon that he custom ordered brand new, with three pages of data card information! Member Mark Brooks also shared his 2018 E 300. These E-Classes never let us down!
Members Aleksandr & Aida Skriptov shared there GLE, and stories about their W140 S-Class. Section VP Dave Wommer shared his SL 63, Member John Allen shared his SLK 350 and Membership Director Gary Keener also shared his CLS 550, built on an E-Class platform. Most owners seem to say “Never gonna give you up” regarding their E-Class! Member Bruce McCormick also shared his 1985 350 SL to celebrate the 8-Es!
We didn’t capture every Mercedes-Benz that arrived as storm weather had started to roll in. Guests were free to arrive and depart throughout the event. If we missed capturing your Mercedes-Benz, we hope to capture it at a future event!
After admiring the cars that arrived, meeting new members, and hearing some history and tech tips from our members, enjoying the cars that were in the showroom, including a new designo Diamond White S-Class in the dealership ready for a new customer, we packed up and anticipated our upcoming visit to the Classic Car Museum of Saint Augustine in September.
