MBCA Southern Stars Section toured The Brumos Collection automotive museum in Jacksonville, Florida recently, and it was a huge hit among our members. The Brumos Collection has been named the Best Museum in Jacksonville and is considered to be one of the top 20 automotive collections on the planet. There is something for everyone to enjoy, appreciate and admire!
Southwest Florida MBCA Section Members Ray & Antje Boulay drove their 2020 SL 550 from Estero, FL to the museum, a 300+ mile one-way journey. Southern Stars Section MBCA Members Rob & Kara Fortney drove from Hilton Head, SC to join us, over 175+ miles one-way in their AMG C 43 to join us! Thank you to our long-distance members for taking the time to enjoy what Jacksonville, Florida has to offer! Section members are excited to visit it again, and we look forward to going back as a group!
Nearly two dozen members joined us to tour The Brumos Collection, and we all appreciated the museum welcoming us by displaying a stunning silver 1953 300 S on the board racetrack entrance for us to admire!
After a couple of hours admiring the collection, learning history and hearing stories of the legendary cars, we drove over to German Schnitzel Haus and enjoyed a variety of delicious food and beverages while enjoying conversation of passionate automotive enthusiasts! We spoke of upcoming events, and look forward to returning to The Brumos Collection.
